Kaveri Lal and Neha Krishna Tandon are qualified professional classical and folk dancers. They run the not-for-profit school Bollywood Nasha have been teaching Bollywood dance in Seattle for the past two and a half years. They train people of all ages in various types of Indian dances. They have been actively participating in various cultural events both in India and abroad and have performed for the South Asian Film Festival and the Indian Association of Western Washington.They have shown great leadership in setting up the school, generating interest in it and getting people to commit to it. Bollywood Nasha was covered by The Seattle Times last year and is one of the upcoming Indian dance schools in Pacific Northwest.
In Utsav 2007, Neha Krishna Tandon will be performing a Rajasthani folk dance and Kaveri will be performing a folk dance. There will also be a performance by children and an opening Ganesh stuti.
